Black Dog Farm specializes in Heirloom vegetables and smaller varieties designed to feed 2 people. We have 2 of our 20 acres in vegetable production including using multiple unheated hoophouses for season extension, the latest of which was added in 2011. We are famous for our Heirloom tomatoes grown in the hoophouses, they're the best.

 

We enjoy being a smaller grower that can bring new varieties to market for people to try and cook with along with some recipes on "what to do with this new food."

 

Our customers know our growing practices (organic/sustainable practices but not certified organic) and appreciate the care we take to bring them fresh delicious food. Starting in 2014 we are re-launching our CSA program and adding a farm stand for selling right here at the farm. We will also be adding a you pick strawberry patch in 2014.
